How to Get Here
Salt Spring Island is the most accessible of the Southern Gulf Islands. We have three ferry terminals serviced by BC Ferries: one from the mainland, and two from Vancouver Island. Note that for more ferry timing options, you can choose to do a ‘through-fare’ from Tsawwassen to Salt Spring Island via Swartz Bay (Victoria) – this offers a lot more choices in timing for your arrival and departure. You can also get here by float plane. Salt Spring Air/Harbour Air operates scheduled flights from downtown Vancouver and from Vancouver airport.

Let Us Pick You Up!
Our tours usually meet in Ganges in front of the Salt Spring Inn. But we can usually pick up guests staying at all Salt Spring accommodations, foot passengers from all of the ferry terminals on Salt Spring as well as sailors, boaters, and guests coming by seaplane from the Ganges marina. Please contact us if you would like this service.

This can increase your enjoyment of activities like wine and beer tastings at local vineyards and distilleries, and also relieve stress related to making your way back to a ferry at the right time. Our tour van is comfortable, and equipped with air conditioning for hot summer days.

By Pickup
For larger groups, we offer Charter Service from downtown Victoria, The University of Victoria, the Victoria International Airport, and Sidney.

Getting Here From Vancouver
By Sea
BC Ferries services the following routes:
- Tsawwassen near Vancouver to Long Harbour on Salt Spring
- Tsawwassen near Vancouver to Swartz Bay, with a Transfer to Fulford Harbour on Salt Spring**
**Note that depending on your schedule you can travel by ferry directly from Tsawwassen, or you can go to Swartz Bay on Vancouver Island and transfer there to the ferry to Fulford Harbour (make sure to ask for a ‘through fare’ to Salt Spring).
Reservations (1-888-223-3779) on the Tsawwassen direct to Long Harbour route are required and are free of charge. A nominal fee is charged for reservations on the Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay route. Reservations are not available on the Swartz Bay-Fulford or the Crofton-Vesuvius routes.
By Air
Sea plane services are available daily from downtown Vancouver, and the Vancouver International Airport into Ganges Harbour. You can also fly from Seattle to Ganges with Kenmore Air.
