Astart-line-div-1-rss13n exciting  kick-off to the summer season here on the island is the annual Race Round Salt Spring. For 41 years, this sailing competition has attracted sailors from all of the world, who come to enjoy the gorgeous scenery and friendly hospitality of islanders.  Over 100 boats will take part in this unique race that circumnavigates the island, whose challenges involve squeezing through the Samsum Narrows between Salt Spring Island and Vancouver Island, and dodging BC Ferries!
