Our sightseeing tour is a great way to see many of the highlights of Salt Spring Island, on and off the beaten track. We’ll go at a relaxed and enjoyable pace. We rarely do the same tour twice – with the wide selection of talented artisans and beautiful and interesting sights, there is plenty to experience on every tour.

The specific stops on this tour vary with weather, season, and hours of operation for studios and other stops. We also do our best to cater to any specific requests from our guests.

We can pick up and drop off at locations around the island (e.g.: accommodations, ferry dock, et). Let us know in advance if you would like this service.

The following is an example of a tour we have put together in the past:

We explore an eclectic mix of local artists’ studios representing a wide variety of different media. (We keep in close contact with artists and craftspeople, so we know when they may be doing something extra-interesting.) You’ll have a chance to view beautiful original works of art, and often meet the artists themselves. We visit one or two small Salt Spring farms. We will stop at a great little café for lunch (cost of lunch not included in tour fee). We take you for a peaceful stroll through a majestic Pacific rainforest. Surrounded by towering cedar trees and a lush fern forest, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to another place and time. We stop at a local cheese maker for a tour of their operation and taste fresh cheese.

Our guides are very friendly and will share local stories and interesting historical facts along the way.

Let us show you our Salt Spring!
